Kids get new coats just in time for winter

ON OUR CAMPAIGN.

THESE GORGEOUS KIDS WHO GOT UP SO EARLY.

WE WORK WITH A LOT OF FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY, BUT A FAMILY AND A CARRIAGE WHO CAN'T AFFORD A COAT KNOWING A CHILD GETS A COAT, WE'RE SO GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL.

MEGAN: A NEW COAT AS HE HUGE THING.

AND IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO THE CHILDREN.

THEY GO TO SCHOOL, THEY'RE EXCITED, THEY'RE WARM, AND THEY FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES WHICH CARRIES ON TO THE CONFIDENCE OF THEIR DAY.

THAT IS SUPER AMAZING.

WE'RE SO THANKFUL FORWBAL AND WHAT YOU DO EVERY YEAR -- WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR WBAL AND WHAT YOU DO EVERY YEAR.

MEGAN: WE THINK OF COATS, IT IS SHINY AND NEW, BUT IT IS IMPORTANT.

IT GETS COLD HERE.

I THINK WE OFTEN TAKE FOR GRANTED HOW IMPORTANT IS TO HAVE A PROPER COAT.

LET ALONE, GETS SAY THEY DON'T NEED A COAT BECAUSE THEY DON'T FEEL THE COAT.

THEY DO NEED A COAT.

CHILDREN ARE GETTING COLD BUT DON'T KNOW IT BECAUSE THEY'RE HAVING SO MUCH FUN PLAYING.

A WARM COAT WILL KEEP THEM WARM AND ULTIMATELY PREVENT HYPOTHERMIA.

MEGAN: WIFE IS SO IMPORTANT? -- WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT? HYPOTHERMIA SETS ON QUICKLY.

IT WILL BE A TEMPERATURE LESS THAN 95 DEGREES.

THERE SOME CONDITIONS THAT CAN OCCUR WHETHER IT IS DROWSINESS, SLURRED SPEECH, SHIVERING.

IF A CHILD BECOMES HYPOTHERMIC, IT CAN LEAD TO A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.
